Key Features & Technologies

FeatureWhat It Means
Display Panel TypeOLED — Each pixel emits its own light. That gives true blacks (pixels can be off), high contrast, and very good viewing angles.
Resolution4K (3,840 × 2,160) — sharp, detailed images suitable for large screen sizes.
HDR SupportOLED HDR + HDR10+ Adaptive / Gaming, plus features like Real Depth Enhancer, HDR Brightness Optimizer. Enhances contrast, brightness in bright parts, and detail in shadows.
ProcessorNQ4 AI Gen2 — handles upscaling content to 4K, optimizes picture based on content, improves sound output.
Refresh Rate & MotionNative 100 Hz, with Motion Xcelerator 120Hz (meaning it handles motion smoothing / interpolating frames etc.), good for fast action (sports, gaming). Also supports VRR (variable refresh rate) in many markets.
Viewing Angle & Anti-GlareUltra Viewing Angle + anti-reflection screen coating help maintain image quality from side-angles and reduce glare from room lighting.
Audio & Sound Features• 2-channel speaker system with 20W RMS output. • Supports Dolby Atmos for immersive audio. • Object Tracking Sound Lite (OTS Lite) to follow action on screen. • Q-Symphony – syncs TV speakers and compatible soundbars together for richer sound.

Benefits / What Makes It Good

  • High Picture Quality: OLED gives excellent contrast (deep blacks), vibrant color, and accurate image reproduction, especially for movies, dark scenes, etc.
  • Good for Gaming & Fast Content: With 120Hz support, low latency modes, and VRR, it performs well for sports, gaming, and dynamic motion.
  • Smart Features & Aesthetic Appeal: Modern OS, voice assistants, minimal bezels, stylish stand/design, energy-saving remote (SolarCell), etc.
  • Immersive Audio (to an extent): While its built-in speakers aren’t going to replace a premium sound system, features like Dolby Atmos, OTS Lite, and Q-Symphony enhance the audio experience.

Limitations / Things to Consider

  • Brightness in Bright Rooms: OLEDs can be reflective; in very bright rooms or with sunlight hitting directly, glare may reduce visibility. Anti-reflection helps, but doesn’t eliminate it. Some reported that the screen’s maximum brightness is good but may struggle under very intense light.
  • Potential for Burn-in: As with all OLED panels, risk of image retention (burn-in) if static content is displayed for long periods (logos, HUDs, etc.). Proper usage mitigates this.
  • Price: Premium feature set comes with a premium cost. Might be more expensive than non-OLED or earlier technologies.
  • Sound Output: Built-in speakers are decent, but 20W 2 channel is modest; for full home theater or cinema sound, you’ll likely want a good soundbar or external speaker setup.
